Hamble Airfield

To meet's the demands of new housing development, Cemex are planning to develop the 150 acre site at the former airfield in Hamble

Not only is this a valued green space used by many dog walkers and ramblers, it is adjacent to two schools which face significant negative impact from dust and air pollution, as well as increased background noise.

The impact on the existing road access to Hamble will also be affected - 144 lorry moments a day are expected down the narrow Hamble Lane, causing traffic gridlock and posing potential danger to pedestrians.
